7. Sweden

Rape rates in Belgium

In 2010, the United nations reported the rate of rapes in Sweden to be 53.2 rape cases per 100,000 inhabitants this is the same year Swedish police recorded the highest number of offences – about 63 per 100,000 inhabitants. This was the highest in Europe. The number of teen girls who get raped in Sweden is very high. This is alarming to Swedish government; they must act to stop this crime.

6. Germany

Germany has endured wars, separation and many political bumps throughout its history and may be that’s the reason why it is not known for good human right conduction. It is the same country where large multitude of Jews was brutally murdered by Nazis. That might be history but even now the country is not so safe. A report shows that more than 240,000 girls up to now have died due to this disgraceful crime. Germany is making a leap in technology but there are some things the Germans seem to have ignored. They should start focusing on it right now.

5. Mexico

Acting as a bridge between the high flying lavish American life style and the poor Latin American lifestyle, this country seems to have forgotten about humanity. The most polluted city of world, Mexico City also seems to be polluted by rapists. On 11th February 2013, five Mexicans were arrested for an attempted rape of six Spanish tourists. The crazy thing is, as if there is something in Mexican air, even the foreigners are active in such crimes. This is a worrying sign for Mexican government and they should act as soon as possible.

4. Canada

The country of igloos and Eskimos, this cold country is known in the world for it’s exponential economic growth over the past few decades but it is being more and more unsafe for women to live in as a  report recently indicated  that every one third of Canadian women have been raped at least once in their lifetime but only 6% of these crimes get reported because of fear of predicament . If it is the case for a developed country like Canada we can only imagine how it might be for under developed countries where men are still the lazy dukes of their homes.
