3. Rama Empire of India
Rama Empire is another significant ancient civilization from Asia, besides the ancient Chinese and Uiger civilization. The civilization flourished around today’s India. This civilization is believed to have begun from 500 BC. The best cities as the proof of their advanced civilization were Mohenjo Daro and Harappa. One noteworthy thing about this Indian civilization is that the ancient books of this civilization have been preserved, unlike those of China, Egypt, Central America, Peru. The cities of the civilation were highly developed and has led to a popular belief among archaelogists that they were conceived as a whole before they were built, quite a remarkable early example of city planning. Another striking thing about this civilization is that the plumbing-sewage system throughout the large city was superior to that found in Pakistan, India, and most Asian countries even today.
2. Ancient Atlantis
Ancient Atlantis is one of the most important lost civilizations of the world. Archaeologists believe that this city had a very sophisticated and modern culture. Atlantis is supposed to have taken technology to very advanced stage, far beyond what’s on our planet even today. Atlantis Phylos, famously mentioned in his book entitled as A Dweller on Two Planets 1884 that Atlantis had used airless cylinder lamps, electric guns, monorail transportation, and water generator. This civilization is also attributed to the use of aeroplanes and of crystals or firestones used for energy and related applications. Quite a remarkable feat taking into consideration the times during which the civilization had existed.
1. Ancient MU or Lemuria
Ancient MU or Lemuria, the oldest recognized civilization in the world is looked upon with great reverence today, for its contribution to mankind. This civilization is believed to have existed for about 78,000 years ago. The civilization stood for about 52,000 years. It is considered to have located in the Pacific Ocean. It is thought to have been a beautiful island almost equal to paradise. While Mu did not reach as high a technology, supposedly, as other later civilizations did, it is, nevertheless, said to have attained some advanced technology, particularly in the building of long-lasting megalithic buildings that were able to withstand earthquakes. However, one thing this civilization is most remembered for and credited to is the science of government. Supposedly, there was one language and one government. Education was the keynote of the Empire’s success and it is believed they laid great emphasis upon education. Every citizen is thought to have been versed in the laws of the universe and given thorough training in a profession or trade. Archaeologists believe that the island along with its people sank in the ocean some thousands of years ago. It is said to have been destroyed in earthquakes generated by a pole shift which occurred some 26,000 years ago, or at approximately 24,000 B.C.
Most of the things we see around us today, we have inherited from ancient civilizations, in one way or the other. Through different civilizations, human beings have evolved as a single entity, exploring around them and finding something new at each step. So this is an attempt to remember our past and also thank our forefathers who changed the course of history and enabled us to stand where we are today. Some important civilizations might have missed but nevertheless it’s our sincere attempt to include the ones with utmost achievement.
